Within minutes Jade had accurately diagnosed my injury

In January 2017 I fell on some ice and injured my shoulder. On the advice of a friend I made an appointment at the Abbey Clinic and met with Jade Blake for an initial assessment. Within minutes Jade had accurately diagnosed my injury and advised me that surgery was going to be required. Jade and her colleagues at the Abbey Clinic were immediately able to provide me with invaluable advice on surgeons specialising in this injury.

Following the advice I was given I underwent surgery at Reading Shoulder Unit under Prof Levy in February 2017. Throughout my recovery from surgery and subsequent rehab I received regular physiotherapy treatment from Jade at the Abbey Clinic.

I have recently completed my 12 month post-surgery assessment at Reading Shoulder Unit. I am happy to report that now have the full range of movement back in my shoulder and (currently) 90% strength. Both I and Prof Levy are obviously extremely pleased with my recovery so far and I believe a very great deal of the credit is due to Jade and the tailored programme of physio and exercise she prepared for me. Without exception my experience at the Abbey Clinic has been 100% professional, knowledgeable and positive and always helpful and friendly.

I would like thank the clinic and Jade in particular for the exceptional treatment you have given me. I know that without your help I would not have been able to make a full recovery from this injury.
