Amy Johnston

Sports Massage Therapist and Sports Therapist

Sports Massage

Qualifications: Level 4 Sports Massage BSc Sports Therapy, Bucks New University

Amy's lifelong passion for sport, including playing football for multiple teams, sparked her interest in sports medicine. She qualified in Sports Massage and then earned a degree in Sports Therapy, gaining experience with various sporting teams in pre- and post-match massage and general muscle release. Enjoying her work with a broad range of clients at The Abbey Clinic, Amy began an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2024, expected to complete in September 2026.

Personal sporting highlights

  • I played football from 7, starting with my cousin at Downley Dynamos, then progressing to Risborough Rangers Girls, Wycombe Wanderers, Berks and Bucks County and Maidenhead United.
