I have always had a keen interest in sport, playing football for several teams including Risborough Rangers, Wycombe Wanderers Ladies, Maidenhead United and Abingdon Town. This has allowed me to see and experience injuries which made me realise this was the career I wanted to go into.
I studied Sport and Exercise and became a qualified in Sports Massage and started working in sport.
I decided to take my training further and am currently doing a degree in Sports therapy which is enhancing my knowledge and skills.
I have worked within sporting teams and have utilized my skills for pre and post-match massage and also general release of muscle tension. I enjoy working within The Abbey Clinic team and seeing the broad range of clients.
I believe CPD is important in enhancing my knowledge and I look to complete courses regularly alongside my degree.
