Simon's background includes training in microbiology and virology at Liverpool University, followed by cancer research at St. Thomas's Hospital, where he also earned a Master's in Radiotherapy & Cancer Research (1981). He then pursued acupuncture, qualifying from the British College of Acupuncture (1982) and furthered his training in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China. Since 1987, Simon has practiced acupuncture in London and regularly lectures and supervises at the British College of Acupuncture. He treats general dysfunction and stress, with a special interest in sports injuries, infertility, allergies, skin conditions, and asthma. Outside of his practice, Simon is an active tennis player, runner, cyclist, skier, and golfer.
