Sue Noble

Qualifications: MCSP, Member of the HPC, MAACP, MACPSM, APPI

Qualified at King's College Hospital in 1984 as a Chartered Physiotherapist

Sue worked in the NHS to the level of Superintendent IV Physiotherapist, specialising in musculo-skeletal outpatients. She also took a couple of years out to travel around the globe, gaining more physiotherapy experience in Australia and New Zealand, and life experience playing at odd jobs such as deck-handing, waitressing, forestry control etc.

Sue has always been interested in sport, both as a working practitioner and a keen participant

Sue started working with athletes at Crystal Palace, having also worked with hockey, rugby, soccer, and badminton clubs, as well as Wessex & National Volleyball squads. Her main interest and expertise is in tennis. Sue has worked at Wimbledon, and travelled extensively around the world for the ITF and WTA (Women's Tennis Association), devising and setting up a therapeutic exercise programme for them. This included working with all the top women players' at the time. She also enjoys working with young up and coming atheletes and believes in good screening programmes, working towards prevention and performance as well as cure.

Sue lived in Cape Town whilst working for the WTA, finding some spare time to help rescue oil stricken penguins, literacy classes and house building in the townships and rescuing stray animals

Sue has always participated in an intense & varied continuing education programme. Her skill base includes joint mobilisations and manipulations, soft tissue techniques and treatments, electrotherapy, acupunctune, pilates and exercise programmes and their progression.

Sue has and still still enjoys a varied sporting life outside of work. This includes first team hockey, badminton, tennis, canoeing, volleyball, sailing etc, as well as participating in the odd run and triathlon, having completed the London marathon in 1983 and 2005, and sailing across the atlantic in 2006.
